Now this 50 foot long by five and a half inch wide and two inch thick foam bumper is going to attach to your dock to provide a little bit of extra protection and cushion as you are docking your boat to your dock to prevent your boat from getting damaged. Now, this has a durable closed cell foam that is going to absorb impacts. It is flexible enough that it can mount to curves and corners and as you can see here, I was able to coil it on my table, so it is indeed flexible enough to go around curves and corners on your dock, so it's gonna fit easily along the side of your dock. This outer layer is a UV resistant non-marring polyester. more

It's made of a durable Marine grade plastic, so it's not going to crack or fade over time. It can be used for both salt and fresh water applications, and it does have a three-inch cutout at the back to go over a three-inch post. As far as the overall length, going from the very end here, it's about 35 5/8 inches, maybe 35 3/4. All the edges are at a little bit of an angle, just the way that this is molded, so it's a little hard to get it precise.The cutout again, three inches. more

So this helps to protect your boat from any kind of damage whenever you're trying to dock. It gives you a softer surface then typically that post will be, so just gives kind of a bumper to any hull that might be coming up against it. As far as the specs with this, it does have a cutout in the back, this measures two inches wide, and there's also a second indention in that, which is about an inch and a quarter, and that goes down the length by about 18 inches, about 18 and a quarter inch. So you've got this kind of indention within the indention. The whole thing measures about 35 and a half inches long. more

This is going to protect your boats from any kind of contact with the corner of your dock so you don't have to worry about any dents or scratches there. It also helps to reinforce that corner of your dock so it doesn't get any damage itself.We can take a little closer look at our bumper here, it is going to have a nice expanded style on the inside, so that's going to help to absorb that energy and keep it from transferring into your boat. It's made of PVC or polyvinyl chloride, so it's going to be UV resistant and also mildew resistant as well. It should last a long time without any issues or fading from the sun.You can see that it has a kind of P shape, the letter P shape style to it, that's going to help to protect the edge there, especially if your boat happens to be moving around, there's a wake and that boat rises or falls, same thing with tides, anytime the water level rises or falls, it's going to just help to create more of an area to protect that boat.Pretty simple to get this installed, you'll just use some nails or screws in this top flap, and then again along the bottom edge to secure it in place. more

This is going to go around the edge of your dock and provide some cushion to your boat, so you don't have to worry about any kind of scratches or scuffs. It is made out of a vinyl material and it's going to come in this black color. You'll notice that the edge up at the top is already kind of folded over, so it's going to come over the edge so you can attach this lip to the top side of your dock and then this is actually going to be going over the side. You can see from the inside that it does have a reinforced material on the interior, so it's going to have some stability. more

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the tailor-made 10 foot long coil of a P shaped commercial grade dock edging. Now this dock edging will protect your boat from being scuffed by your dock. The P shaped design on it if you look at the side profile here, has this overlapping lip at the top of the edging, and that lip is designed to mount to the top of your dock and the P shaped design attaches to the side.I want to just give you an idea of what we're talking about here with the 2x4, just to give you an idea. And you can see when you go to mount this, that lip on the top will mount to the top, and then this P or the side portion here will go to the side of the dock, so it sort of overlaps the dock. It is a double molded profile, gives you extra durability and protection. more
